Taj Ayesh, a 2-year-old boy from Lakeland, Florida, tragically died on November 27, 2013, from a gunshot wound to the head. According to reports, the incident occurred when Taj followed his mother, Nealy, to her truck. Nealy stated that she was retrieving something from the vehicle when the gun accidentally discharged, striking Taj. Despite being rushed into surgery at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Taj did not survive the injury.
