Temmel Washington, a 26-year-old male, was enjoying a late summer evening on his porch on September 1, 2014, in his West Baltimore neighborhood. The day, which held no particular omen, tragically became his last. In a sudden burst of violence that shattered the neighborhood's calm, Washington was shot in what was reported as a double shooting. He was on the 700 block of Linnard Street when the incident occurred.
