Tony Matthews, a 33-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on August 12, 2022. He was found shot in the 4200 block of Parkside Drive at approximately 1:14 p.m. The Baltimore City Police identified him as one of the eight homicide victims in the city during that week. Matthews' death was part of a particularly violent period in Baltimore, which saw multiple homicides within a short span of time.
