In the quiet of a Kansas City evening on December 6, 2020, the life of 22-year-old Elizabeth Carol Pilkey Miles was tragically cut short. A painter with a love for art and the outdoors, she was found inside a home in the 11300 block of Ditman Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds.
