Angel Hooper, a six-year-old girl from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on October 17, 2014. She was fatally shot outside a 7-Eleven convenience store located at East 107th and Blue Ridge Boulevard. Angel had gone into the store with her father to buy some bubblegum. As they were leaving, a passing car fired multiple rounds toward the store parking lot, and Angel was struck in the head.
