Deonaye Johnson, 26, a Black/African American male from Baltimore, was shot on the afternoon of September 9, 2025. Detectives said gunfire was detected by ShotSpotter around 3:09 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Arlington Avenue in the Sandtown-Winchester area of West Baltimore. Responding officers found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body; he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
