In the summer of 2024, a gathering in East Baltimore turned tragic, leading to the death of 36-year-old Anthony Martin, a Black male. On the evening of August 18th, Martin was near a park in the 1300 block of N. Spring Street when gunfire erupted. The incident, which occurred around 8:01 p.m., was a mass shooting that left seven other individuals, ranging in age from 22 to 46, wounded.
