Jamar William Wise, a 24-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on the night of February 18, 2016, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. in the 2700 block of Pelham Avenue. Wise sustained gunshot wounds to his legs and was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
