In the summer of 2019, the life of a talented and well-known 28-year-old male barber from Baltimore, Devon Chavis, was tragically cut short. On the night of July 23, 2019, Chavis was shot multiple times outside his apartment on Goodnow Road in the eastern part of the city. He had just returned home from the airport when the fatal encounter occurred.
