Roland Deloatch, a 41-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2016, in Sanford, Florida. On that fateful Halloween night, Roland and his younger brother, Joseph Smith, were victims of a brutal home invasion. The incident occurred at their residence on Hays Drive, where a masked gunman entered the home and opened fire. Joseph Smith, aged 28, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Roland Deloatch succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
