Adrein Green, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2020, in Sanford, Florida. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when Adrein was allegedly attempting to burglarize a vehicle inside a gated property. According to reports, the homeowners were awakened by noises coming from their front yard. The male resident, armed with a pistol, confronted Adrein and, feeling threatened, fired two shots, resulting in Adrein's death.
