In early 2021, a sense of concern grew for thirty-year-old Skye Angers, a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She was last seen on January 4, 2021, in the vicinity of the 100 block of South Beadle. At the time of her disappearance, Skye was navigating a period of significant vulnerability; she was experiencing homelessness and was seven months pregnant with a baby girl.
