Sherry Lou Wileman, 29, disappeared on September 10, 1982, in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was last seen when she dropped off her daughter at her ex-husband's home. Afterward, she was supposed to drive to New Orleans to meet her mother, but she never arrived. Days later, her vehicle was found abandoned and burned in Baton Rouge, but there was no sign of Sherry herself.
