Ebony Nicholas, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 29, 2020, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred at the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Pecan Park Road, where both she and her boyfriend, Daisean Biffle, were employed. On the evening of the incident, Ebony Nicholas had arrived at work around 6:30 p.m. Biffle, who was not scheduled to work that night, arrived at the facility around 7 p.m. using his employee badge to gain entry.
