Briana Arreola, a 27-year-old Black woman, died from gunshot wounds on September 6, 2024, after Jacksonville police traced her and Ian Piscitelli to an apartment on Gate Parkway. Their deaths brought a sudden end to a search that had intensified only a day earlier, when authorities released their photographs while investigating gunfire directed into occupied homes.
