Ramona Solomon, a 25-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost her life on June 24, 2018. Ramona, who was four months pregnant at the time, was shot while on a basketball court at Julius Guinyard Park on Jefferson Street. After being shot, she managed to run to a nearby apartment complex for help but was later pronounced dead at UF Health Jacksonville. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as they grappled with the loss of a young woman and her unborn child.
