Tara Gean Hawkins, a 33-year-old woman from Jacksonville, Florida, was reported missing on June 1, 2012, after failing to return home from work. She had last been seen leaving her job at a local gentleman's club called Emperors, located on University Boulevard. Hawkins was known to ride a distinctive blue/green cruiser bicycle, and authorities initially believed she may have been vulnerable due to a brain injury she had sustained from a previous accident.
