Ray Davis, a 29-year-old cab driver, was tragically murdered on April 11, 1962, in Oceanside, California. Originally from Michigan, Davis had moved to Oceanside with his brother in January 1962 after separating from his wife. On the night of his death, Davis radioed his dispatcher to inform them he was taking a fare to South Oceanside. Shortly after, he was found dead, having been shot twice—once in the back through the driver's seat of his cab and once in the back of the head. His body was th ...
