Erik Ramsey, a 25-year-old resident of Oceanside, California, was found dead on the sidewalk near 1302 Dubuque Street on April 11, 2018. The Oceanside Police Department (OPD) initially responded to a report of a man found under suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ramsey with an injury to his upper body, prompting an immediate investigation by the Crime and Violence Unit.
