In the winter of 2023, a quiet Trenton, New Jersey, apartment building became the scene of a tragic discovery. On the afternoon of January 16th, police were called to a residence in the 100 block of South Overbrook Avenue to check on an unresponsive male. Inside, they found 29-year-old Donnell Williams, a Black man, lying on his living room floor, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
