Birmingham police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead and another person hospitalized.
Police are questioning one person. They believe the shooting started as a fight over drugs.
Deon Williams, 32, was killed in the shooting. The other person who was shot is expected to recover.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Oaks at Springville Apartments in the 600 block of Earline Circle in the Huffman community.
