Eduardo Duran Gonzalez, a 41-year-old Latino male, was tragically shot and killed on December 3, 2011, in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner's records, the incident occurred near Euclid Avenue and Inez Street. Officers responded to a shooting call around 4:20 p.m. and found Gonzalez sitting in a car with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle he was driving, a GMC pickup truck, belonged to a friend. Initial investigations did not reveal much about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
