In the late summer of 1981, a sense of unease settled over the Bangor, Maine community with the disappearance of 19-year-old Pamela M. Campbell. The young woman was last seen in Bangor on August 15, 1981. The following day, after she failed to return, her father reported her missing to the Bangor Police Department. A search for Pamela began, and before long, investigators located her car abandoned in the parking lot of the Bean and Conquest dealership in Bangor, but there was no sign of Pamela. ...
