Pamela M. Campbell, a 19-year-old from Bangor, Maine, disappeared on August 15, 1981. She was last seen after leaving her car in a parking lot in downtown Bangor, and her father reported her missing the next day. More than a year later, on November 20, 1982, her skeletal remains were discovered in a shallow grave in a wooded area in Holden, Maine, by a hunter.
