Markus Jones, a 24-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on the night of August 10, 2016. The incident occurred in the 900 block of McNew Court in southeast Bakersfield. According to reports, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 8:30 PM after receiving calls about a shooting.
