In the early morning hours of Monday, August 2, 2010, the life of Argell White, a 36-year-old Black male known in the New Orleans rap community as Twelve A'Klok, was tragically cut short. A newspaper carrier on their route discovered White's body, riddled with multiple gunshot wounds to the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene, his death sending another shockwave through a music scene no stranger to violence.
