On August 2, 2010, Argell White, known as the rapper Twelve A’Klok, was shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana. White was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his back, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a founding member of the Cut Throat Committee, a record label associated with his cousin, the late rapper Soulja Slim, who was also a victim of gun violence in New Orleans in 2003.
