Travis Williams, a 22-year-old from New Orleans, was shot and killed on July 2, 2015, while performing construction work under a house in the 600 block of North Salcedo Street. The incident occurred around 4 p.m., and Travis was shot multiple times in what was described as a targeted attack. Travis's tragic death left his family devastated, and they later held a funeral service on July 11, 2015, at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park in New Orleans.
