Murdered

Desmond Lange Jr., age 42, was killed in a tragic double shooting on January 1, 2015, in Gentilly, New Orleans. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Warrington Drive while Desmond Lange Jr. and his father, Desmond Lange Sr., were working on a pickup truck in their driveway. A gunman opened fire, fatally injuring both men. Desmond Lange Sr., age 64, died at the scene, while his son was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
