Drey Lewis, a 23-year-old man, was fatally shot on the evening of March 27, 2017, in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans. The incident occurred on Eastern Street, where authorities reported that three gunmen opened fire, ending Lewis's life just months after he had been released from prison.
