In the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 18, 2012, a sense of unease settled over the 7800 block of South Coronet Court in New Orleans. The quiet of the residential neighborhood, lined with townhomes and apartments, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call at approximately 2:00 a.m., New Orleans police officers arrived to a grim scene.
