Jerome Carter, a 43-year-old man from New Orleans, Louisiana, was tragically killed on June 7, 2015, in a shooting incident on Interstate 10 in eastern New Orleans. Carter was fatally shot while driving, which caused his vehicle to veer off the road and crash. This incident, happening in broad daylight, shocked many in the local community and became a part of the long list of gun violence fatalities that year in New Orleans.
