In the summer of 2015, the life of 25-year-old Michael Spikes was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in eastern New Orleans. The African American man was the victim of a triple shooting that occurred on or about June 29, 2015. While details surrounding the specific circumstances of the shooting remain scarce in public records, it is known that two other individuals were also wounded in the incident.
