On May 22, 2016, Nnamdi Richard Louis, age 20, was shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana. Nnamdi, also known by the nickname "Detroit," was a young man with a promising future. Born on April 30, 1996, in Detroit, Michigan, he moved to New Orleans, where he attended the International School of Louisiana during his elementary years and later attended McMain for middle school.
