Rashad Darnell Kinebrew, a 21-year-old Black man from New Orleans, Louisiana, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014, after gunfire cut through a Lower Ninth Ward morning. Not long before noon, police were called to the intersection of Marais and Lizardi Streets, where they found him lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
