On June 3, 2012, Dashawn Hartford, aged 24, was tragically shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident took place in the city's Sixth District. According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), Hartford was approached by two individuals and shot. The authorities were alerted shortly afterward, and homicide detectives began their investigation, with Detective Walter Edmond leading the case.
