On the night of June 7, 2021, Alexis Colon, a 25-year-old resident of Oceanside, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Oceanside Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of Higgins Street at approximately 10:41 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Colon lying in the street with severe gunshot wounds.
