Lenardo James Rainey Jr., aged 35, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2021, in Oakland, California. His death was the result of a fatal shooting at a homeless camp located in East Oakland. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 5:30 a.m., when Oakland police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of East 12th Street.
