Tyree Foster, a 52-year-old man from Burbank, California, was tragically killed on July 4, 2022, in Oakland. Foster was shot while he was in the driver's seat of his vehicle in the 8700 block of Dowling Street in East Oakland. The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. As a result of the shooting, Foster's vehicle crashed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oakland Police Department released his name a few days later, confirming the details of the fatal shooting.
