Marcus Jackson, a 57-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2019. He was fatally shot in the driveway of his home on Market Street in West Oakland. Jackson, who worked for the Berkeley Public Works Department, was one of three victims in a series of shootings that occurred across the Bay Area on that fateful day. The incident was part of a multi-city shooting spree that also claimed the lives of Laron Davis in San Francisco and Calvin Kelly in Berkeley.
