William Carnell Gray, a constable with the Newfane Police Department in New York, tragically lost his life on December 21, 1904. At the age of 56, Constable Gray was attempting to serve a warrant on a man accused of stalking. During this encounter, the suspect produced a revolver and fatally shot Constable Gray.
