On the evening of June 5, 2024, at approximately 9:41 PM, Madison County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Upper Browns Church Road in east Madison County, near Jackson, Tennessee. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Forest Johnson III outside the residence, receiving emergency medical treatment for a gunshot wound. Tragically, Johnson succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
