In the winter of 2021, the community of Jackson, Tennessee, was shaken by the violent death of Jeffery Pirtle, a 31-year-old man. On the evening of Sunday, December 5th, gunshots rang out on Jackson Street, and when the sound faded, Pirtle was left fatally wounded. Emergency services arrived at the scene, but tragically, his life could not be saved.
