On the evening of February 17, 2018, the life of 22-year-old Tevin Murrell, a Black male, was tragically cut short in his Jackson, Tennessee apartment. Officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to a call at the Georgian Cove apartments and discovered Murrell inside his residence with multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead.
