Miia Love Parker, a 25-year-old Black transgender woman, was fatally shot on April 1, 2022, in Chester, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. She was in a parked vehicle when she was shot, and despite being taken to a hospital by a friend, she did not survive.
