In the early summer of 2013, the life of a young Chester man was cut short, leaving a void in the lives of his family and friends. Waleef J. Kane, a 22-year-old male, passed away on June 28, 2013. A graduate of Chester High School's class of 2010, he was known to his loved ones as 'Leef.' After completing his education in the Chester Upland School District, he went on to work at Granite Farms Nursing Home and Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
