Herman "Hyman" Amberg, born around 1902, was a notorious New York mobster who, along with his brothers Joseph and Louis, formed one of the prominent criminal gangs during the Prohibition era. Known for his role as an enforcer, Hyman Amberg's criminal activities eventually led to his arrest in 1926 for the murder of a local jeweler in Brooklyn.
