In the summer of 2015, a tragedy befell a hardworking and friendly shopkeeper on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Bubacarr Camara, a 26-year-old male immigrant from Gambia, was killed during an apparent robbery at the BNC T-shirt shop on Amsterdam Avenue.
