On March 17, 1979, Charles Padnick, a 50-year-old male, met a brutal end in Brooklyn, New York. Padnick, along with William Serrano and two other unidentified men, had traveled to the city to orchestrate a significant cocaine transaction with the notorious DeMeo Crew, a faction of the Gambino crime family.
