Tyquan Holmes, a 17-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2016, after being shot in the neck. The incident occurred on Marcy Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Responding officers found Holmes with a single gunshot wound and rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition.
