Thomas Bilotti, aged 45, met a violent end on December 16, 1985, in Manhattan, New York. Bilotti, who was the underboss of the Gambino crime family, was assassinated alongside his boss, Paul Castellano, outside Sparks Steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan. The murders were orchestrated by John Gotti and Sammy Gravano, who sought to take control of the Gambino family.
