On a spring evening in the Bronx, what began as a dispute over a teenage romance tragically escalated into a violent act that claimed the life of 15-year-old Carlos Young. On April 28, 1990, Young, along with his friend Nelson Rivera, also 15, and two other youths, were lured to a schoolyard with the promise of drugs. This promise, however, was a deceptive ploy born from a festering grudge.
